Armless Student with for Determination to Study, Even If He Writes with His Feet

He does not have arms but one student recently went viral for his determination to study despite his situation – even if he writes using his feet! How difficult could that be? Well, it is very difficult! Yet this man has long learned to cope with his situation and uses his feet just as easily as we use our hands to write.

This impressive young man was identified as Ferdinand Dabbay, a student of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) in Ballesteros Central School, a public school in Ballesteros, Cagayan.

In his drive to learn, this young man did not let his armless status stop him from going to school and learning how to read and write. He is working hard to finish his studies, knowing that education is the key to success.

In his post on Facebook, sharing some photos of Ferdinand, netizen Bryan Oliva (Facebook username: Yan RB Avilo) expressed admiration over his classmate’s determination.

According to Bryan, Ferdinand has become an inspiration to many of them studying at Ballesteros Central School.

In the photos shared by Bryan, this inspiring young man could be seen using his feet to take down notes. He doesn’t even have a modified chair to make it easier for him to write with his feet. Yet he does not complain about the situation. Instead. He simply learned to adapt and focus on his studies, instead.

Kudos, Ferdinand! Good luck in your studies…
