Based on the video shared by Viralized on their Facebook page, Poland is one of the countries that have high regard for the lives of their fellowmen. You can clearly see that the motorists moved their vehicles to make way for the ambulance.
Same goes for Germany and Japan, where motorists actually stop and let the ambulance pass by before they continue driving. It just goes to show that these countries educate the motorists regarding road culture and respect for life.
Countries Who Don’t Care
Meanwhile, China showed it’s true color by being indifferent to the sounds of the ambulance siren. The same goes for India. Although it may seem justifiable to say that the horrendous traffic caused the motorists to stay in their lane and not give way to the ambulance, there are places that ambulances can travel speedily despite the traffic.
It is quite surprising to see the USA be part of this list of different countries. But judging from the video, you can clearly see that the motorists seem to be apathetic to the sirens of the ambulance. Is this just an issue of traffic congestion or is this more an issue of lack of concern for other people’s lives?
