Walking on water is impossible, there’s no question about that. But this genius inventions lets you get the closest thing, which is to cycle on water!
No, this is not the swan ride in amusement parks that lets you pedal slowly. Pedaling on water is not a new idea at all.
However, what we are used to are huge and bulky boats which run through pedaling as well. This new invention, the Shuttle Bike, is a fresh design by Roberto Siviero and SBK.
The idea is to turn an ordinary bicycle into a floating one by attaching big floaters to the bike. To inflate the floaters, the rider must use a special pedal that pumps air in.
The entire kit consists of pontoons; a yellow boat that is made from plastic and nylon and comes in the color yellow, the frame, which is a set of pipes that will have to be assembled to ensure stability of the bike when installed to the floaters, clamps, a transmission system, propulsion unit, body roller and cable.
The kit comes in a small bag which can be hand carried while traveling. This is a very nice alternative for commuters who need to cross a body of water to get from one place to another.
Shuttle Bike claims that this invention is meant for everybody so they made it easy to assemble and light to carry. Now, bikers can have fun biking on water.
Here’s how it looks when used on water: Two banana-boat like floaters are attached to each side, with the frames holding the bike together.
This new innovation lets you ride your bike on water.
It can be used with friends to enjoy or exercise together.
When gondolas can become too expensive, why not bring your own shuttle bike kit with you to enjoy the river?
Taking it everywhere you go is just a backpack away. The kit is made of lightweight plastic that can fit a bag.
Enjoy the stroll without ever worrying about traffic or gondola fares.
Or you can use it to exercise if you want. Up to you.
